Thanksgiving Here We Come!

It is officially November and the weather was beautiful today! The kids and I were up and moving early to spend the day with Nana in Jackson. First we went to a wheelchair basketball game for Nana to volunteer. Then we went to JCPenney and got some awesome deals ($42.00 shorts for Daddy for only 98 cents)! Then we went and shared some lunch at Wendy's and played at Gabriel's Garden. Nana had never been to this park but she was very impressed with how nice it is! The kids loved and it and BJ thru a temper tamtrum when it was time to go. He wasn't ready to quit playing. Then we headed over to Lifeway for some more deals. I got Dakota Grace a computer game for $5.00. It is Hermie themed. We also bought the book that the movie Fireproof was written around. This should be interesting to read!

Halloween passes here at our house with little fan fair. I have never been tricker treating and don't plan to start. BJ decided that he would crash Nana's double date and go eat Mexican while Dakota Grace dawned her Snow White outfit and went to the Hallelujah Festival at FBCB. It was pretty good and after 30 minutes she was worn out. She had her first experience on the blow up bouncing contraptions. I will try to post photos soon. We came home and she devoured her whole plate of mac n cheese (which is very good for her).

She is starting to feel better. We had another back up in her bowels but I caught it quick enough that we didn't have any major infection. She did throw up once and was uncomfortable and ran a low grade fever but by this time I had already given her the laxative and it had started working. Once she got cleaned out she has been much happier. We are hoping and praying this is not going to be a life long battle.

So anyway, one of Mom's classmates has had what appears to be a mental breakdown and her family finally took her to the hospital this weekend. So please pray for S. This program is really hard to get into and very stressful to complete and she has put a lot of years of work to get this far. Also one of Ronny's co-workers sons was just diagnosed with a whole in his lungs and is being sent to Vanderbilt. So pray for him.
